How long does one tube last?
A 75ml tube lasts roughly 4 weeks with twice-daily use.
Does it contain fluoride?
Yes, 1305 ppm, as sodium monofluorophosphate. Hydroxyapatite is often marketed as a fluoride alternative, but here the two work together: hydroxyapatite fills micro-damage in the surface, fluoride strengthens enamel against acid attack. It's a complete daily fluoride toothpaste, not a supplement to one.
Do I need to have had professional whitening to use it?
No. The Serum works as a standalone daily toothpaste for anyone dealing with sensitivity or enamel wear. It's used before, during and after professional whitening, but treatment isn't a prerequisite.
When should I use it, morning or night?
It depends where you are in your whitening journey. From two weeks before whitening and throughout treatment, use Enlighten Serum morning and night in place of your regular toothpaste. Once treatment is finished, switch to Enlighten White in the mornings and keep the Serum for nights, so it can micro-repair while you sleep. If you're not whitening at all, use it morning and night as your everyday toothpaste.
Do I use water with it?
No. Apply the Serum straight from the tube to a dry brush and brush without wetting it. Water dilutes the formula and reduces contact with the tooth surface. Try not to rinse heavily afterwards either, so the actives stay on your teeth for longer.
Will Enlighten Serum whiten my teeth?
No, and it isn't designed to. The Serum's job is to calm sensitivity and repair micro-damaged enamel. Restoring gloss can make teeth look brighter, but it won't change the underlying shade. For stain removal, use Enlighten White. For a genuine shade change, you need professional whitening through your dentist.
